Something I like to do: getting notification of what's ringing on my phone to my laptop.\\
There is a solution for that: Linconnect! → https://github.com/hauckwill/linconnect-server
  - Installation\\ You need the server (check your package manager for linconnect-server) and the client: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.willhauck.linconnectclient \\ You need libnotify to work on your desktop see: [[software:gui:notifysend|How to]]
  - Connection \\ Launch the server <code bash> linconnect-server </code> On the Android device, follow the onscreen instruction, the device should discover by itself the server otherwise add it by hand.

Et voilà ! You can setup/filter which Application can send notifications
